The 营养与营养学 majors offer a wide range of undergraduate and graduate studies applicable to community health, intervention for health conditions, disease prevention, and wellness programs, as well as business settings dealing with food 服务, marketing, safety, and product development.
You will find these programs useful if you are interested in health maintenance and rehabilitation through the science of nutrition. Physiological, biochemical and behavioral sciences provide the foundation for study. Because of the strong science base, our undergraduate majors are supportive of advanced degrees in several health fields.
The Dietetics major is accredited to provide a means for students to become Registered Dietitian Nutritionists while the Nutrition major provides flexibility to be tailored to specific interests and applications that fit student goals. Approximately 250 undergraduates choose from our majors in Nutrition or Dietetics. You can pursue a major in Dietetics by enrolling in the on-campus program or elect to complete course requirements online via the 远程饮食计划.
Whether you are already a Registered Dietetian Nutritionist (RDN) who would like to earn a master's degree, or you want to combine your master's degree with a dietetic internship, our online graduate program will establish you as an expert RDN.

Two new exciting online graduate degree options exist for students interested in Nutrition and Dietetetics - a Master of Science in Dietetics for Current Registered Dietitian Nutritionists, and an accredited Master of Science in Dietetics with 饮食实习 for those seeking Registered Dietitian Nutritionist status.

Bachelor of Science - Dietetics
Dietetic practitioners promote healthy lifestyles through good nutrition, disease prevention and medical nutrition therapy. Accredited by the 认证 Council for Education 营养与营养学, the Didactic Program in Dietetics is the first step toward becoming a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN).

A distance-based Didactic Program in Dietetics, similar to the ACEND accredited on-campus BS营养学 program, designed to be more accessible for students who have employment and/or family commitments that preclude participating in a full-time on-campus experience.
Bachelor of Science - Nutrition
Ideal for students interested in careers that allow them to educate and assist people with wellness and healthful living choices. 学生 in the nutrition program will learn about nutrients, wholesome foods and applications to health promotion and food 服务.
饮食实习
A distance-based internship fully accredited by the 认证 Council for Education 营养与营养学. 学生 who have completed a Didactic Program in Dietetics approved or accredited by ACEND are eligible to apply. 圆满完成 internship will establish your eligibility to sit for the national standardized exam administered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration. 圆满完成 the exam results in the Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential and eligibility to apply for state licensure in those states that provide licensure for dietitians.
